Dr. Michael Hayles
Dr. Michael Hayles has been a community leader for over 30 years and he has degrees in Business Administration, Ministry, Multimedia and Information Systems. He has over 20 years of experience as an Oil and Gas Executive and over 30 years working as a Leader in the non-profit industry.

Dr. Hayles has been involved in community service since being a Boy Scouts (Reached Star Scout) in Jr. High School, serving as a member of Junior Achievement, a member of the Key Club (Kiwanis International) and a member of the Paramount Club (all social concern organizations). Dr. Hayles has been a musicians since he was eight (8) years old when he made his first drum out of a coffee can, some inner tube tire rubber and some string. He started performing as a musician playing Percussions and Woodwinds for seniors and military veterans while attending High School. Also, while attending Texas Southern University in 1973-1974 as a music major and playing in the “Ocean of Soul”, he became a Phi Mu Alpha Music Fraternity Member and was selected to the Texas Intercollegiate All-State Band. Lastly, Dr. Hayles was a recipient of the Outstanding Young Men of America Award, Outstanding Christian Leaders Award and a host of other accolades over the many years of service to the community. .
Dr. Hayles served as a Field Artillery Specialist in the United States Army – 1/78th Field Artillery, 2nd Armored Division – Fort Hood, Texas (1975-1979)
He served two six month tours of duty in Grafenwohr, Germany with the 498th Support Battalion, 2d Armored Division (1975 and 1978)
Dr. Hayles served as a Loan Executive for the United Way and as a Toastmasters International Area Governor for District 68 while working for Texaco in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Dr. Hayles is a United Way of Greater Houston Project Blueprint graduate and a Leadership Montgomery County Graduate.
Dr. Hayles served as a Customer Service Manager for Walmart in Montgomery, Texas and as the Human Resources Manager for the Montgomery County Women’s Center (2004-2008).
Dr. Hayles served as a Methodist Minister for over 25 years and was a volunteer Chaplain at the Goree and Byrd Units in Huntsville, Texas for over nine (9) years.
Dr. Hayles served two terms as President for the Conroe Friendly City Kiwanis Club, he served as a Board Member of the Montgomery County Food Bank for over ten (10) years and he has served as a Board Member for Montgomery County Child Protective Services.
Dr. Hayles currently serves as an Associate Minister at Mt. Mariah Baptist Church in Dobbin, Texas and a Certified Volunteer Chaplain Assistant (CVCA) at the Eastham Prison Unit in Lovelady, Texas.. He is a Board Member for The Mighty Men of Valor in Houston, Texas, a Board Member for the N. H. Davis Museum and The Fernland Historical Park, both located in Montgomery, Texas. Also, he is currently serving on the Montgomery County Community Development (CDBG) Fair Housing Committee.

Ms. Yolanda Perez
Ms. Yolanda Perez is the CMCM Food Distribution Manager and oversees the day-to-day operation of the CMCM Food Distribution Center.
She is retired from the medical field and now serves clients at CMCM as a part-time staff employee. Ms. Perez has been with CMCM for over eight (8) years and is committed to ensuring that ALL CMCM clients are served with a spirit of love and support as we work to meet the food insufficiency needs of Montgomery County and the surrounding areas.
Ms. Perez or “Ms. Yolanda” as many of our clients and volunteers refer to her is one of the kindest, most caring and loving spirited persons that CMCM has serving its clients.
Ms. Melanie Davis
After suffering the loss of her seven-month-old daughter to crib death, Ms. Melanie Davis found healing and purpose by sharing her story with those who could be encouraged and inspired by the wisdom and purpose she found in her daughter’s passing.
She developed The Triumph Program to assist others to discover write and share their own Triumph Stories and went on to become the founder of Triumph Press, which publishes The Triumph Book Series, as well as the books and stories of others who have overcome adversity.
Since writing The Triumph Book: HEROES, a collection of first-person veteran stories, she has become a passionate advocate for our veterans and most recently is raising awareness of and serving The Forgotten Veterans.
Melanie is the Founder of H.O.N.O.R. Mentoring and is working to expand the program to more prison units in Texas and across the nation.
Ms. Julia L. Roy
Julia L Roy is the CMCM Counseling Manager and assists Clients by appointment.
Julia L. Roy is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor specializing with individuals, couples, and parents/families as well as hosting workshops, seminars and group sessions.
She graduated with honors from Sam Houston State University in 2005. She worked for UTMB-CMC within TDCJ-ID from 2006 to 2017. She currently contracts with Coat of Many Colors Ministries within her private practice in Montgomery, Texas. Among her areas of expertise are anger, healthy communication, grief, anxiety, and recovering from trauma.
Julia Roy is an interactive therapist who leans toward Reality/choice Therapy. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
